FAQ Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time of exceptional demand, here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:
1. Can I Pre-order?
Unfortunatetly, it is too late to pre-order. Pre-orders were originally opened on October 16 and we have reached capacity for all dates between now and Thanksgiving. This may be surprising, but it is true. Please come see us in person for pie (see #2).
Post-Thanksgiving Pre-orders will begin to open on November 20 at 2 PM. Schedule will be published here as soon as available.
2. Then, how can I get a Thanksgiving Pie?
We are so grateful for all of our customers, new friends and the OG. We find ourselves in a time of significant demand.
1. WALK IN - We bake every morning that we are open. Come into the shop during business hours (see below) to purchase from our freshly-baked daily selection and FREEZE YOUR PIE. Items do sell out. Generally, the earlier you come the more options you will have. Check this website to see what is SOLD OUT (we update throughout the day, but not in real-time) or call us for real-time data. We will not be open for walk-in sales the week of Thanksgiving.
2. LAST CHANCE SALE - We will have a last chance sale on Wednesday, November 25 at 2 PM. We bake everything we have and sell it on a first-come, first-served basis. We will publish the number of pies available when we have it. For fairness, we limit the number of pies per person to 4 and the number of apple pies (if available) to 1. There is always a line before the sale begins, so please plan accordingly.

3. What pies will be available?
Each day, the following pies will be generally available:
- Apple Caramel Crumb
- Mom's Traditional Apple - VEGAN Option Available
- Triple Berry Crumb
- Brown Sugar Pumpkin (best eaten fresh)
- Pumpkin Praline - contains pecans
- Chocolate Caramel Chess
- Southern Pecan - contains bourbon
- Pumpkin Chiffon in Gingersnap Crust - GF Option Available
We make a set number of each flavor on each day and some flavors will sell out before the date closes.
-------------
4. Will you have quiche, chicken pie or other savory pie?
We will have savory pie until November 8. Between November 8 and Thanksgiving, we focus exclusively on sweet Thanksgiving Pie.
-------------
5. Will you have cinnamon rolls, scones, brownies, cookies & small pies?
We will have these items occasionally until November 8, but are not guaranteed. Once the pies are made, we will make other treats with any available time remaining.
-------------
6. How do I preserve my pie for Thanksgiving?
If you pick your pie on the Tuesday (November 24) or Wednesday (November 25), just refrigerate your pie until Thanksgiving and reheat day of if you have a regular pie. Please note that Pumpkin Chiffon, Mile High Chocolate, Key Lime and other cold pies should NEVER GO IN THE OVEN [You laugh, but it has happened].
If you pick up your pie before November 24, please freeze and reheat, if appropriate (not Chiffon, Mile High, Key Lime). Your pie will still be wonderful. Heather & Wendy serve previously frozen pies to their own families every year and provide detailed instructions. Videos!

7. I'm running late for pickup, what should I do?

If you can't make it on your pickup day, please call us & we will hold a pie for one day in our refrigerator EXCEPT...Any pies not picked up by 2 PM on Wednesday, November 25 will be forfeited without a refund.

8. When can I place a pre-order to pick up AFTER Thanksgiving?
Pre-orders for post-Thanksgiving will begin to open on November 20..

THANK YOU & A FINAL REQUEST
We are grateful & honored when you choose us for Thanksgiving or any day. We take this responsibility seriously. We make all we can keeping our focus on quality. Quality over quantity, always.
Please be kind. The sad fact is that this is the time of year when we get the most negative online reviews, mostly from people who:
- Were frustrated from waiting in line or
- Didn't end up getting a pie at all
We get it. You are stressed. Please also be kind.
Our ingredients are fresh and our machines are talented human beings. We will all be working to make as many pies as we can while maintaining our high quality standards.
