FAQ Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time of exceptional demand, here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:
1. How can I get a Thanksgiving Pie?
PRE-ORDERS for the Tuesday (11/24) and Wednesday (11/25) before Thanksgiving will open at 2 PM on October 16.
NOTE: Orders for all other dates are closed from October 16 to October 19 while we handle the rush of Thanksgiving orders.

2. What pies will be available?
The Thanksgiving Pies will be posted here by October 12 (or before).

3. Will you have quiche, chicken pie or other savory pie?
We will have savory pie until November 8. Pre-orders are encouraged.
After November 8, we focus exclusively on sweet Thanksgiving Pie.

4. Will you have cinnamon rolls, scones, brownies, cookies & small pies?
We will have these items occasionally until November 15, but are not guaranteed. Once the pies are made, we will make other treats with any available time remaining.

5. How do I preserve my pie for Thanksgiving?
If you pick your pie on the Tuesday (November 24) or Wednesday (November 25), just refrigerate your pie until Thanksgiving and reheat day of if you have a regular pie. Please note that Pumpkin Chiffon, Mile High Chocolate, Key Lime and other cold pies should NEVER GO IN THE OVEN [You laugh, but it has happened].
If you pick up your pie before November 24, please freeze and reheat, if appropriate (not Chiffon, Mile High, Key Lime). Your pie will still be wonderful. Heather & Wendy serve previously frozen pies to their own families every year and provide detailed instructions. Videos!

6. I'm running late for pickup, what should I do?
PLEASE pick up at your chosen time. If you are running late, but still arriving before we close that's fine, but please let us know. If you can't make it on your pickup day, please call us & we will hold a pie for one day in our refrigerator EXCEPT...Any pies not picked up by 3 PM on Wednesday, November 25 will be forfeited without a refund.

7. When can I place a pre-order to pick up AFTER Thanksgiving?
Pre-orders for post-Thanksgiving through Christmas will open on November 20..

First, thank you! We are grateful & honored that you want to make our pie a part of your Thanksgiving table. We take this responsibility seriously.
Second, please be kind. The sad fact is that this is the time of year when we get the most negative online reviews, mostly from people who:
A) Were frustrated from waiting in line, OR
B) Didn't end up getting a pie at all.
We get it. You are stressed. Please don't take your stress out on us.
Our ingredients are fresh and our machines are talented human beings. We will all be working to make as many pies as we can while maintaining our high quality standards.
